neetoSite got revamped blocks, global theme, scroll triggered animation, custom block and more

neetoSite, is a website-building tool by neeto. In the last edition, we mentioned that neetoSite got a hero slider, image blocks, template preview and more.

Throughout May and June, neetoSite went through a significant transformation. We revamped all website blocks and introduced a consistent new design, making it easier than ever to create stunning websites. Let’s jump in and see the new features.

1. Revamped blocks

We've completely redesigned all our blocks to ensure consistency, adopting a new design that departs from our previous color palette. Here are some of the blocks that you can see in neetoSite.

We implemented a grid-based strategy for organizing all the blocks, significantly contributing to consistency. This involved employing a uniform grid structure and spacing throughout all the blocks.

Let's see the contrasts between the previous and updated hero block.

As illustrated, the old hero block lacked adherence to a grid system, resulting in inconsistent spacing between elements. Conversely, the new hero block adheres to a grid-based approach, ensuring consistent spacing between elements.

2. New Blocks

Aligned with our design principles for block revamping, we also introduced several new blocks to our library in response to user demand. These new additions include:

1. Gallery classic

2. Feature with Jumbo text

3. Testimonial with vertical image

4. CTA with email action

5. CTA with logo

6. Footer with icons

7. Footer classic

Recognizing the need for diverse block types to showcase various content, we introduced a new category of blocks called Cards. The following card blocks cater to different content listing requirements:

1. Cards with customizable grid

2. Cards classic

3. Cards in grid view

4. Cards with image

3. Global theme

Global theming has been introduced to facilitate seamless theme changes for your website. Users can apply similar styles across all the blocks with a single change.

4. Custom domain

In neetoSite, we've introduced the capability to assign a custom domain to your website. This feature is conveniently accessible through the builder header, allowing users to add their domain by the click of a button.

5. Scroll Triggered Animation

We've integrated scroll-triggered animations, enabling subtle ease-in animations as users scroll through the blocks. This animation can be configured via the block's property tab. Additionally, there's an option to apply the animation globally to the entire site from the global theme bar.

6. Other Enhancements

In addition to the aforementioned enhancements, we've also made the following changes:

1. Enabled font family customization for all typographies.

2. Transitioned from pixel-based font sizing to rem-based sizing.

3. Enhanced the management of assets within blocks, ensuring seamless attachment to the respective model.

4. Implemented necessary performance optimizations for the builder page.

5. Detected and resolved lingering bugs in the app, effectively addressing them.
