neetoRunner is a coding and whiteboard assessment tool that provides solutions for conducting technical interviews with real-time evaluation and insightful analytics. Here are some of the new features, enhancements, and optimizations which were recently launched.
1. Create assessments with no fixed date or time
You can now create assessments with duration without specifying the starting time or date.
With this addition, the intended audience can take the assessment without worrying about specific starting times or other time window restrictions. This flexibility ensures a seamless experience for all participants.

2. Download test cases
You can now download the test cases from a question in the zip format. The downloaded zip file will be compatible with the required format for uploading test cases.
This enhancement will add significant value to your workflow, especially when adding similar test cases to different questions.

3. Migration to React Query
react-query takes care of background updates, request retries, and performance optimizations. neetoRunner has undergone a complete migration to react-query, enhancing speed and efficiency.
4. Caching test cases
The test case's input and expected output will now be cached in an encoded format. This caching mechanism eliminates the need to fetch and encode these details from the database for every evaluation. As a result, performance is substantially improved during the result assessment. Additionally, this enhancement leads to faster code execution times, contributing to a smoother overall assessment experience.
5. Fixed issue with webcam and microphone not turning on
The issue with the webcam not turning on is now resolved. It used to occur for someone with blocked webcam and/or microphone permissions in their browser. You can now verify your access without any hindrance or complications.
In addition to this, you will now see more instructive messages regarding your browser permissions.
